The aim of the Level one AKSI Instructor Certification course is to provide participants with the skills necessary to introduce others to the use of kettlebells as part of their training programme. Participants will learn how to perform and demonstrate technically correct kettlebell exercises in a safe and effective manner.
Participants should be 18 years or over, have a knowledge of weight training and a basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
In order to pass this certification, the participant must show correct technique for each lift, be able to use verbal and physical cues to teach correct form for each lift, identify contra indications and be able to apply corrective strategies.
