Take on other lifters around the world…
AKSI is teaming up with World Association of Kettlebell Sport Clubs (WAKSC) in 2018 to host a stage of the World Grand Prix Series Cup. The event will take place in Kilkenny on July 7th 2018.
Run by the World Association of Kettlebell Sport Clubs (WAKSC), the World Grand Prix Series Cup is a tournament series where athletes and clubs from all over the world compete against each other via competitions held at various locations worldwide throughout the year.
Athletes may take part in different stages throughout the tournament with their best score going forward.
Clubs can get points for:
1. Their athletes taking part in any of Grand Prix competitions. 1 point
2. Their athletes taking part in any of Grand Prix competitions in their country. 2 points
3. Their athletes taking part in any of Grand Prix competitions held in the other country. 3 points
4. Places that their athletes get in the end of the year. The first place is equal to the number of participants. The last place is 1.
For example, if there are 25 competitors, first place = 25 points. second = 24. third = 23… last = 1 point.
If there are 5 competitors, then there are 5 points for first place, 4 points for second, 3 for third, 2 for the fourth place and 1 point is for the last, fifth place.
